This one is for the parents.

One day your kids will thank you for being human.

Speaking as a former kid, I love that fact that my mom has always shown me she is human. She has never tried to sugar coat things, and she’s always kept it real with me. Yea, she tried to shield me from things I didn’t need to know as a small child, but as soon as I was old enough to understand, she told me more than to should have probably 🤣. So, Moms/Dads, this is your reminder to give your kids more of the REAL you. Let them know things aren’t always perfect… and that is OKAY.

Story time:

I remember when I was about 6-7, my dad & step mom wanted to take me and my brothers to the park to grill out one summer. We get there, they start grilling while we’re running around playing, then it was time to eat. It was only then did we realize no one grabbed plates 😂. Instead of that ruining our day, my step mom made it fun by allowing us to make our own plates by forming them out of tinfoil! Things don’t have to be perfect for kids, they just need to be filled with love and be memorable.

Here are two pictures of me & my
