Healing is not a straight line - it’s a dance between forward steps and pauses.

When it comes to healing from some sort of trauma, or being hurt by someone you never thought would hurt you.. it’s not a straight line - at all. Some days you’ll feel like you’re making progress, other days, the grief or pain sneaks back in. That doesn’t mean you’re failing. It means you’re human, and that’s okay. What is important is that you just keep going!
