Are you auditioning?

How many times have you tried to please someone in your life that honestly wouldn’t think twice about you? A boss? An old friendship you’re trying to cling to? A toxic boyfriend/girl friend?

Not everyone you meet is considered YOUR people. Stop trying to set who you are aside just to make these people happy. YOUR people will make you feel welcome. Your people won’t ask you to change, they won’t ask you to do things you know you shouldn’t do. They will care about your well-being.

So stop bending to please people who don’t even care about you. God cares about you!
